Quality
Research and development, as well as quality assurance and certification, are becoming more and more important to modern future-oriented companies. The necessary technical know-how is available to us in our own materials laboratory and measurement facility. Accompanying tests are carried out from goods-in to shipment of the components.
The laboratory equipment includes two exhaust emissions spectrometers for continuous monitoring and documentation of the chemical composition of our materials, together with the necessary facilities for test preparations and metallographic analysis as well as stereo and light microscopes. Using a special re-melting furnace, we are capable of establishing the composition of components; including retrospectively. A Briviscop 3000 D hardness tester is available for hardness measurements according to Brinell (DIN EN ISO 6506/1).
The equipment in the measurement facility consists of two 3D measurement machines from the company Zeiss, that are compatible with and can accept CAD model data, and a manual 3D measurement machine. Measurement operations are carried out here from models to prototypes along with measurements to accompany batches. The sampling is carried out according to VDA or PPAP models. Corresponding with our customer base, we are certified according to the certification requirements of ISO/TS 16949/2009 and fulfil the qualitative perquisites of all large automobile manufacturers.
